Originally from Gloucester, Virginia (near Williamsburg), I came to North Carolina in 2001 after serving in the United States Navy in Pensacola, Florida. The community was a natural fit as I grew up in a small town. Additionally, I have family in Charlotte, Rock Hill, SC and Virginia.
I am happily married (20 years) to my high school sweetheart Tracy. We have 2 children.
I help coach high school football and high school wrestling at 2 local high schools. My practice partner, Dr. Koch, and I serve as team physicians for local high schools.
I enjoy golf, boating, fishing and the outdoors. I am active in my church serving as an Elder and as a youth leader for our senior high youth.
I played 5 years of college football. Two years for the United States Naval Academy and three years at James Madison University.
